Child Health Information — Explicit Consent

This text is shown when you choose to fill in the health fields on a child profile. If you leave those fields empty, nothing is asked of you here and the rest of the App works as usual.

Which data

Allergies
Blood type
Emergency medication
General health note (free text — you decide what to write)

Under Article 6 of Turkish Law No. 6698 these are special categories of personal data (health data). For that reason, unlike other data, they may be processed only with your explicit consent.

Why

So that whoever collects the child, takes them to school, or is present in an emergency can act correctly. Preventing the wrong food from being given to a child with an allergy, or knowing which medication to use in an emergency, is the entire purpose of these fields.

Who can see it

Active members of the family space can see these fields. This includes caregivers you invited (grandparent, childminder, authorised pick-up person) — enabling them to act correctly is the point.
Only a full-access parent/guardian can enter or change these fields; caregivers can only view them.
Documents uploaded under the health category are additionally marked sensitive and are not visible to caregivers.

Where it is held

On the same cloud infrastructure as the rest of the App, in the European Union (Germany) region. These fields are not used for advertising or profiling, are not added to analytics events, and are not sent to the AI provider unless you start an action that requires it.

Withdrawing consent

You can clear the fields at any time. Once cleared, this data is no longer processed; that is how consent is withdrawn, and no separate step is needed.

Two things you should know honestly:

The family space is shared. Even if you clear a field, the other full-access parent can enter the same information again. Netlik does not prevent this, because the information concerns the child's safety and the other parent also holds parental authority.
We have no control over the memory of people who have already seen it.

Your declaration

By filling in these fields you declare that you are legally authorised to share the child's health data and to have it processed.
